A ceramic coin bank inspired by the Disney Studios animated film "Bambi" (1942). Featuring Thumper energetically patting his foot to the ground, the bank was produced by Hagen Renaker. Hagen Renaker was licensed to produce Disney ceramics for only a short time during the late 1950's and according to Walt Disney, they produced "the finest three-dimensional reproductions of (the animated) drawings that he ever saw." Measuring 4.5"x5.25" and 5.5" tall, the bank is in very good condition with minimal crazing.
