An original ceramic bank inspired by the Disney Studios animated film, "Lady and the Tramp" (1955). Featuring a gorgeous figural rendering of Lady sculpted originally by Don Winton, the bank was produced by Californian Ceramist, Hagen Renaker in the 1950's. Hagen Renaker was licensed to produce Disney ceramics for only a short time during the late 1950s. According to Walt Disney, they produced "the finest three-dimensional reproductions of (the animated) drawings that he ever saw." Measuring 5.5"x3 and 6" tall, the figurine is in very good condition with a small chip on the brow and nose.
